Kestrel Dragonflies. 18 x 12 inches
A male and female Kestrel (small falcons) visit my fields daily. They mostly go after the voles. But once in awhile, I see one chasing a dragonfly. The male is the one with the patterned tail feathers and although the male of the species tends to be smaller than the female, here they are about the same size.
