The Argus Pheasant of S.E. Asia wears the most intricately varied patterned feathers of any bird.

Framed naturally molted feathers are occasionally offered for sale.
Each framed feather piece is unique. These feathers come from birds kept in aviaries. No two feathers are the same. Since they are molted only once a year, and the birds are rare, the supply is very limited. Each piece is mounted on acid-free, museum quality materials. Frames are hand-made of high quality wood and painted black. The feathers are sealed within the frame for long life but should be kept away from moisture and direct sunlight.
